Poppy’s story begins high up in the mountains, where life is harsh and help rarely comes. Two brave mother dogs gave birth there — hidden under bushes, far from any human touch. For weeks, 17 tiny puppies, including little Poppy, fought quietly to survive. Their small bodies shivered in the cold, their eyes wide with fear, learning too soon that the world could be unkind.

But fate had other plans for them. One day, helping hands reached through the wilderness and brought them all to safety — to Hopeland. For the first time, Poppy felt warmth, gentle voices, and soft touches that meant love instead of danger.

Poppy is a very sensitive girl who is still quite shy and will need extra time and understanding. She finds great comfort in other dogs and trusts them deeply, which is why a home with a confident canine companion would be ideal for her. With the support of another dog and a patient family, Poppy has all the potential to grow into a loyal, loving companion. Poppy has become noticeably more confident and curious. While she is not overly cuddly, she enjoys calm companionship and feels especially secure around other dogs. In a home with a friendly canine partner, Poppy would thrive and show her best side.

Poppy will grow into a medium-to-large dog, around 28- 30 kg when fully grown — full of love, loyalty, and the spirit of a little survivor who never gave up.

After everything she’s been through, Poppy is ready for her forever home — a place where she’ll never have to hide again, where she’ll be seen, loved, and cherished every single day.
