Born in 2020, Piper came to Hopeland as a helpless little puppy and has since grown into a wonderful medium-sized dog with an even bigger heart. Standing around 58 cm tall and weighing approximately 30 kg, Piper is playful, intelligent, obedient, and loves both human and canine companionship.

Piper has a strong personality and sometimes sees herself as the “alpha lady.” This confident nature can occasionally make her a little jealous when it comes to attention, but deep down she is an incredibly loving and special girl. In the right environment, where she feels understood and secure, Piper truly shines. She adores people, enjoys the company of children, and gets along well with dogs who respect her confident character.

Despite her size, Piper is convinced she’s a lap dog and constantly seeks closeness with her people. She absolutely loves cuddles, being brushed, and spending quality time together. Long walks are one of her favorite things, and she walks beautifully on a leash, always attentive and happy to be by your side.

Some time ago, Piper underwent surgery on both of her knees, and thankfully both operations went perfectly. During her examinations, X-rays also revealed a mild hip dysplasia. The good news is that it currently does not require surgery and may never need any operation at all. With a healthy diet rich in Omega-3, supportive supplements, and regular exercise, Piper lives a happy and active life without limitations.

She is house-trained, affectionate, and a truly loyal companion. The volunteers at Hopeland give her as much love and care as possible, but what Piper really dreams of is a home and family of her own — a place where she can finally belong completely.

Piper would be a wonderful match for an active family or a home with other dogs who are comfortable with her confident personality. Whoever gives Piper a chance will gain far more than just a dog — they will gain a devoted, loving best friend for life.
