Piper

Piper came to Hopeland as a tiny puppy and has grown into a beautiful, confident girl with one thing still missing: a family of her own. After spending almost her entire life at the shelter, we would love nothing more than to finally see her discover what having a real home feels like.

Piper is intelligent, playful, affectionate, and incredibly people-oriented. She loves being close to her humans and, despite weighing around 30 kg, seems firmly convinced that she belongs on your lap. Cuddles, being brushed, and simply spending time together are some of her favorite things.

She also loves going for walks and walks beautifully on a leash. Piper is nearly house-trained, attentive, and enjoys being involved in everyday life. She loves people, is comfortable around children, and generally gets along well with other dogs.

Piper is a confident lady with a big personality and a clear idea of what she likes. She enjoys having her people’s attention and appreciates a home where she can feel secure and understood. With dogs who are comfortable around her self-assured nature, she can be a good companion. With kind, consistent guidance and people who appreciate her for who she is, Piper will show just how loving, loyal, and devoted she can be.

Piper has previously undergone successful surgery on both knees. She was also diagnosed with mild hip dysplasia, which currently does not require surgery. With appropriate exercise, a healthy diet, and supportive supplements, she enjoys an active life without current limitations.

At around 58 cm and 30 kg, Piper is a wonderful medium-to-large companion with an enormous amount of love to give.

Piper has watched many dogs come and go while Hopeland remained her home. We think it's finally her turn to be the one leaving - not for another shelter, but for a family who will never let her go.
