Phos

Phos was found alone on the street—wounded, emaciated, and barely hanging on. Thankfully, he was rescued just in time and brought to safety. When he first arrived at Hopeland, he was broken in both body and spirit. But even in his darkest moments, Phos held on to a tiny spark of hope.

Now weighing 30 kg, Phos is fighting with all his heart. He’s receiving gentle, loving care and ongoing treatment for leishmaniasis, including medicated baths and special nutrition to support his recovery. His wounds are healing, his fur is beginning to grow back, and his appetite is strong. Every small step forward is a victory—and his bright spirit shines more each day.

Phos is still learning to trust again. He needs a little more time to fully recover, but his gentle soul is already shining through.

And when he's ready, Phos will be so excited to find a family of his own—a place where he can finally feel safe, cherished, and home.
