Phoenix’s journey is a story of true transformation.
When he first arrived at Hopeland, he was a frightened little soul who had spent three long months in a clinic with his brother. He seemed withdrawn and unsure of the world — as if life had already asked too much of him.

But Phoenix did not give up.

With patient rehabilitation, gentle guidance, and the steady love of the volunteers and Natasa, something beautiful began to unfold. Step by step, Phoenix learned to trust again. And today, he has grown into a truly wonderful dog.

Phoenix now approaches people with curiosity and quiet confidence. He enjoys human companionship, seeks affection, and happily accepts cuddles. He gets along well with other dogs and thrives in their company, showing playful moments and a growing sense of ease in social situations.

He still carries a gentle and thoughtful nature — he observes before he acts — but that sensitivity is part of his charm. It makes him deeply connected and incredibly loyal once he feels safe.

Phoenix will need a patient and understanding home, especially during the first weeks of transition. A calm environment, ideally with some outdoor space, would help him continue to flourish. With kind guidance and consistent support, he will continue to gain confidence and settle beautifully into family life.

At approximately 25–28 kg and around 60 cm in height, Phoenix is a medium-sized dog with a big, sensitive heart. His eyes hold depth and intelligence — and a quiet strength that reminds us why he carries his name.

Phoenix has already risen once.
Now he is ready to rise into his forever home.

Could you be the one to give him that safe place to land?
