Harper’s story began in the most fragile of ways.
She and her three siblings were left in a basket by a river near Hopeland — tiny, cold, confused, and far too young to face the world alone. All four pups showed signs of neurological trouble, and their fate could have ended there.
But kindness arrived just in time.
Rescuers rushed them to the clinic, where they received care day and night. Against all odds, every single puppy survived — including brave, determined Harper.
From those trembling beginnings, Harper has grown into a joyful little spark. Playful, friendly, and full of life, she radiates a resilience that leaves everyone in awe. She loves people, adores other dogs, and embraces new experiences with an open heart. There’s a brightness in her — a little flame that never went out, even when things were at their darkest.
And then came her miracle:
Harper found a loving foster home.
